Samsung has officially confirmed that the Android 15-based One UI 7 update will begin rolling out to the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23, Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6 models next month. According to the company’s blog post, the One UI 7 beta will be available for the devices starting this week, with the public update following in April (in a phased manner).
Interestingly, a few newly launched Samsung phones, including the Galaxy A and Galaxy S25 series, have already received the Android 15 update, whereas users of older generation devices have been waiting for the public update for months.
Until now, only Galaxy S24 series users could sign up for the Android 15-based One UI 7 beta via the Members app. For those unfamiliar, the company has introduced four beta updates for the devices, and it appears that it is taking extra time to fine-tune the update before releasing it to the public.

Typically, Samsung releases the new One UI update between 1 and 3 months after Google releases the new Android. For example, Samsung released its first Android 14 update on October 30, 2023, less than a month after Google pushed it for the Pixel update.
However, this year, Samsung is experiencing unexpected delays. The first beta update for the Galaxy S24 series arrived in the second half of December. However, these delays were to be expected given that the new One UI 7 is a major update that will include a number of new AI features such as Now Brief, as well as design tweaks and customizations for users.
Yet, beginning this week, users of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Tab S10+, Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, Galaxy A55, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra will be able to sign up for the One UI 7 beta program through the Members app (in a phased manner). However, the stable One UI 7 update for these devices may take over a month to roll out.
When will Galaxy S24, S23, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, and other devices get the update?
According to the leaks, the Galaxy S24 Series will receive the update on April 18, 2025, while the Galaxy S23 Series will receive it on April 25, 2025. The Galaxy S22 Series and Galaxy S23 FE are expected to receive the update on May 16, 2025, and the Galaxy S21 Series on May 23, 2025.
