Pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge
have begun in India. The gadget is available in three colours: Titanium Silver, Titanium Jet Black, and Titanium Icyblue, with a starting price of ₹1,09,999. Samsung is offering limited-time pre-order discounts with free storage upgrades, free EMI plans, and other benefits.
Motorola Razr 60 Ultra
Motorola unveiled the Razr 60 Ultra smartphone in India, which retails for ₹99,999. The phone is powered by the top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite CPU and has a number of AI features that Motorola refers to as ‘moto ai.’ It has a 6.96-inch Super HD main screen and a 4-inch pOLED external display, which enables a refresh rate of 165 Hz.
vivo V50 Elite
Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is scheduled to introduce the V50 Elite edition model in India on May 15. The smartphone will be the third model in the V50 series, following the Vivo V50 and V50e. The smartphone’s specifications are likely to be similar to those of the Vivo V50.
Sony Xperia 1 VII smartphone
Sony released its flagship smartphone, the Xperia 1 VII, in Japan on May 13. It has a 5,000 mAh battery, a 48MP ultra-wide camera, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite CPU. The phone leverages Xperia intelligence, derived from advancements in its Bravia smart TVs and sophisticated camera systems, to improve audio, video, and photographic experiences.
Ray-Ban Meta glasses
Meta has begun accepting pre-orders for its Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses in India, ahead of its official launch on May 19. The Meta AI-enabled smart eyewear, which starts at ₹29,900, offers real-time support including live speech translation, navigational aids, and contextual data based on the user’s surroundings.
Apple releases iOS 18.5
Apple has released the stable version of iOS 18.5, which gives compatible iPhones a few modest improvements. The update includes improvements to the Mail app, a new wallpaper, and the Screen Time feature, among other things. Significant new features are not included in this release; they will be presented at the next Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC).
