The 30-minute show will be hosted by actor Ben Starr (Clive Rosfield in “Final Fantasy XVI”) and will feature exclusive reveals, trailers, developer interviews and deep dives into some of the most exciting mobile games of 2024 and beyond from publishers such as Digital Extremes, CCP Games and NetEase Games, per the gaming events company.
Future’s current events include the PC Gaming Show and the Future Games Show, which average around 40 million total views per show, with over 120 million views in 2023. The Future Games Show has featured more than 500 games.
“Mobile is now the world’s most popular gaming platform with billions of people playing games on their phone every day,” Mobile Gaming Show editorial director Jake Tucker said. “The Mobile Gaming Show will shine a spotlight on some of the very best mobile games available and the people that make them. We’ll also look at the most innovative and exciting titles coming soon that demand your attention. Join us on September 26 to discover the mobile games that everyone will be playing in 2024 and beyond!”
“Almost everyone plays mobile games, and it’s never been a more impressive, varied platform when it comes to development and new releases,” managing director of games and entertainment at Future Matthew Pierce added. “However, just like console and PC gaming, there are so many mobile games being released every month that discoverability remains a challenge – for both creators and gamers. We’ve always been committed to helping our audiences find the titles that are worth spending their valuable gaming time on, bringing them to life through digital, print, video and live channels. That’s always been at the heart of what Future Games’ brands do, and soon you’ll start seeing more content from us focusing on mobile and handheld gaming as well.”
