Gameloft has surprised its fans with back-to-back collaborations, this time with Claynosaurz. On the back of the Carmen Sandiego announcement with HarperCollins Productions, the French video game giant will be bringing a mobile together with the digital dinos creator.
Gameloft will bring the world of Claynotopia to life with the Claynosaurz mobile title
Originally launched as digital collectables in 2022, Claynosaurz has a collection of over 10,000 colourful and quirky 3D-animated dinosaurs spread over 7 species. These quickly became social media favourites, charming a global audience with their fun personalities and heartwarming stories.
This upcoming game will let players explore the whimsical world of Claynotopia, offering a fresh way to experience these beloved characters. We will have to collect and customize dinos while exploring and completing quests.
There’s also an island setting in the announcement trailer, so it’s all about exploring the islands. Yeah, I know some of you might joke, thinking I’m being silly for mentioning island exploration with dinos, it is not like they’re wandering around cities or anything. Simply put, expect a mix of adventure and role-playing elements, although I’m not sure how exactly the gameplay will be.
Nicholas Cabana, Chief Creative Officer of Claynosaurz expressed delight at this opportunity. “Bringing the Claynosaurz to gaming is an exciting next step, and we’re pleased to be working with Gameloft, who has a long history in developing amazing mobile gaming experiences, to bring it to life”, he said.
By combining Gameloft’s mobile gaming expertise with Claynosaurz’s creative storytelling, they aim to create a truly memorable gaming experience. As more details come in, I will be updating this space with the official updates.
