Apple just launched two new iPads. One, the entry-level iPad replaces the tenth-generation model while the other, is an update to last year’s iPad Air. As is usually the case, the biggest feature update is the chip. The iPad 11 rocks the A16 while the iPad Air 7 is powered by the M3. The rest of the package remains unchanged including the design, though specifically for the Air, Apple has launched a next-generation Magic Keyboard complete with a 14-key function row and USB Type-C charging. A keyboard like this was previously reserved for the high-end M4 iPad Pro.

iPad Air 7, iPad 11 design, colours, full specs, and features
The iPad Air 7 and iPad 11 look exactly like their predecessors. They come in the same colours, too—space gray, starlight, purple, and blue for iPad Air 7; blue, pink, yellow, and silver for iPad 11. Core hardware is where we see some changes. The iPad Air 7 gets the M3 chip (a step-up over the M2 inside the sixth-generation model) while the iPad 11 has the A16 in place of A14 Bionic on the iPad 10. Another crucial difference is that while the iPad Air 7 supports Apple Intelligence, the iPad 11 doesn’t.
