A recent leak revealed Intel’s upcoming mobile processor lineup, giving us a glimpse at seven new chips across the Core 200H and Core 200U series. A well-known hardware tipster named Jaykihn spilled the leaks on X, detailing these Raptor Lake refresh offerings.
Leading the pack is the Core 270H, built for high performance. This chip rocks 14 cores, with six dedicated to performance and eight focused on efficiency. It starts at a 2.1 GHz base clock but can boost up to a whopping 5.8 GHz when needed.
The Core 200H lineup has five models aimed at different performance tiers. The Core 250H sticks with the same 14-core setup as the flagship 270H but dials things back slightly to a 5.4 GHz boost. Meanwhile, the Core 240H offers ten cores with a max boost of 5.2 GHz, while the Core 220H goes with 12 cores and maxes out at 4.9 GHz. At the more affordable end of the H-series, there’s the Core 210H, packing eight cores and hitting a 4.8 GHz boost clock.
Intel’s rolling out two U-series chips for slim laptops and entry-level notebooks. The Core 250U and Core 220U come with ten cores, split into two performance and eight efficiency ones. The 250U runs at a 1.1 GHz base, cranking up to 5.4 GHz when pushed, while the 220U starts at 0.8 GHz and tops out at 5.0 GHz. These U-series chips share 12MB of L3 cache and stick to a 15W TDP to keep things cool.
These new 200 series processors aren’t stepping on the toes of Intel’s Core Ultra lineup. Instead, they use the Raptor Lake architecture, while the Core Ultra chips (like the 200V and 200H/HS) run on the newer Lunar Lake or Arrow Lake platforms. Expect these new 200-series chips to hit the market sometime next year, around the same time as the Core Ultra 200H/HX Arrow Lake processors.
