While this functionality is currently available through select third-party apps like Snapchat, Apple may be integrating it directly into the native Camera app for the first time.
This feature, already offered by Samsung on devices like the Galaxy S21 and newer, would be a welcome addition for content creators. It allows for a picture-in-picture effect—perfect for YouTube and TikTok—where users can show their reactions or commentary via the front camera while simultaneously filming what’s in front of them with the rear camera.
