Mobile Legends is getting yet another anime collaboration, this time with the classic series Naruto.
MOONTON Games announced on Monday (24 March) that a collaboration with the iconic manga and anime series Naruto is coming to Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB). While MOONTON did not reveal much about the upcoming collaboration in their announcement, it did mention the arrival of a “Ninja Battlefield”, which may hint that the collaboration may bring more than the usual fare of themed hero skins to the game.
Here’s what Lyn Xi, Naruto Collaboration Lead at MOONTON Games, had to say on the collaboration in a press release:
“For over two decades, NARUTO has inspired generations with its themes of perseverance, friendship, and chasing one’s dreams. Many of us grew up with NARUTO, so this collaboration is a deeply personal one. We are honored to bring the ninja spirit to the Land of Dawn and celebrate NARUTO’s enduring legacy with our community.
MLBB and NARUTO share the same ability—to bring people together. We are excited to unite both fanbases by giving gamers and anime enthusiasts a new way to have fun!”
This is not the first time MOONTON Games has collaborated with an anime franchise. In January this year, MLBB partnered with another classic anime in HUNTER X HUNTER to bring in four themed skins to the game. The skins were Gon Freecs, Killua Zoldyck, Kurapika, and Hisoka Morow to the game as Dyrroth, Harith, Julian, and Cecilion, respectively.
The MOBA game has also partnered with other anime titles, such as Saint Seiya, Attack on Titan, and Jujutsu Kaisen. These collaborations brought at least three skins to the game.
MLBB has even been involved in collaborations with movie franchises like Kung Fu Panda, Star Wars, and Transformers; game franchises like The King of Fighters; sporting icons like Neymar Jr.; and even a motorcycle brand in Ducati.
More details about the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang x Naruto collaboration will be unveiled in the coming months.
