Hyderabad: Oppo has launched its new mid-range phones, Oppo F29 5G and F29 Pro 5G, in India. With Full HD+ AMOLED screens, 120Hz refresh rates, and IP69-level durability, these phones are aimed at competing with Realme, Redmi, Motorola, and OnePlus brands.
Pricing and Variants
The Oppo F29 5G comes for Rs 23,999 with the 8GB RAM + 128GB of storage model and for Rs 25,999 for the 8GB + 256GB option. The F29 Pro 5G also comes in three variants priced at Rs 27,999 (8GB + 128GB), Rs 29,999 (8GB + 256GB), and Rs 31,999 (12GB + 256GB).
The F29 Pro 5G is offered in Marble White and Granite Black, whereas the F29 5G will be available in Solid Purple and Glacier Blue. The pre-bookings are ongoing, with sales going live on March 27 for the F29 5G and April 1 for the Pro model.
Specifications and Features
Both devices come with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 1200 nits. The F29 Pro 5G is fueled by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chip, and the F29 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. They run on ColorOS 15, which is based on Android 15, with Oppo committing to two years of OS updates and three years of security patches.
For cameras, the F29 Pro 5G has a 50MP primary camera with OIS and a 2MP depth sensor, whereas the F29 5G has the same 50MP sensor but without OIS. Both devices have a 16MP selfie camera.
The F29 Pro 5G has a 6,000mAh battery and 80W SuperVOOC fast charging support, whereas the F29 5G has a 6,500mAh battery with 45W charging support.
Both handsets will be sold on Flipkart, Amazon, and Oppo’s e-store.
