- UNO! Mobile is launching Ring Royale, a new in-game tournament
- Qualifying players can leap in at any time and take on 10 rounds of real-time matches
- Prizes are in-game and include 160k coins, and a range of customised rewards such as titles
It’s a day ending with a “Y”, which can only mean Mattel163 is hosting another tournament for UNO! Mobile. But don’t worry because this isn’t some high-stakes tournament you’re sure to miss out on, but the rewards are equally tantalising. The new Ring Royale tournaments are available in-game and offer prizes like 160k coins and custom titles, among other things.
To qualify for the Ring Royale tournament, you’ll need to reach one of the following ranks each week: top 3 players in the Master Tier, top 2 players in the Elite Tier, top 1 player in the Expert Tier, top 1 player in the Professional Tier. But in return, you’ll be able to prove yourself in either the Ruby or Amethyst tier, with unique 3D-animated rings to show off your accomplishments alongside two tournament-exclusive ranks with Elite Master and Supreme Master.
And even outside of the competitive scene, UNO! Mobile is getting another major makeover. This time it’s a major accessibility win as coluor-blind players now no longer need to worry about mistaking their cards, with unique icons helping to differentiate each suit.
Say Uno
It’s clear Mattel163 is trying to appeal to the ultra-dedicated fans with a tournament like this. But then I’m not altogether clear how easy (or difficult) it would be to reach those qualifying ranks. For those of you who enjoy the high-stakes world of top-level competitive Uno however, this will be welcome news.
